Job summary

JLL is seeking a versatile General Technician in Fort Collins, CO, with expertise in fire life safety systems, pharmaceutical environments, and carpentry. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of mechanical equipment and systems to ensure safety and GMP compliance in sensitive settings.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least two years of experience in each area, plus proficiency with hand and power tools, the ability to read blueprints, and solid problem‑solving

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in fire life safety systems.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical/cleanroom environments.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in carpentry.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, including carpentry tools.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on diverse mechanical equipment
• Diagnosing mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and manual inspection techniques
• Conducting preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fire life safety systems
• Performing carpentry work, including building and repairing structures and fixtures
• Adhering to safety protocols, regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Maintaining accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used
