Job summary

JLL is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Round Rock, TX to maintain building systems and equipment, ensure safety, and support lab spaces. The role involves preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and documenting work in the CMMS.

You will work with engineers and trades, coordinating with contractors as needed. Preferred candidates have 2+ years in facility maintenance, basic HVAC/plumbing knowledge, and the ability to read manuals and drawings.

Qualifications

• Experience with building systems such as HVAC, plumbing and electrical.
• Ability to read equipment manuals and simple drawings.
• Hands-on skills with basic maintenance tasks and tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, pumps and motors.
• Complete minor mechanical and electrical repairs and inspections.
• Respond to service requests and routine work orders.
• Document work in CMMS and note follow-up actions.
• Assist engineers and trades with equipment maintenance and emergencies.
• Keep mechanical rooms and shops clean and compliant with safety rules.
