Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a Reliability Technician to maintain pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment at a client site in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico. You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure regulatory compliance under cGMP and OSHA.

You will document activities in CMMS, analyze performance data, collaborate with production, engineering and quality teams, and support calibration, cleaning, lubrication, and installations while adhering to safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven experience as a reliability technician or maintenance technician within pharmaceutical manufacturing or similarly regulated industries.
• In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment operation, maintenance requirements, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Strong understanding of cGMP, SOPs, and OSHA safety regulations.
• Proficiency with CMMS and documentation software.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with ability to analyze complex technical issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
• Effective communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment including compressors, pumps, fillers, HVAC systems, generators, and packaging machinery.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using root cause analysis techniques.
• Document all maintenance activities, work orders, inspections, and inventory transactions in CMMS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve maintenance issues quickly.
• Monitor equipment performance metrics and analyze data to identify improvements.
• Execute equipment calibration, cleaning, lubrication, and routine checks per SOPs.
• Support equipment installations, modifications, and decommissioning projects.
• Maintain detailed equipment history records for reporting and analysis.
• Contribute to development of maintenance procedures and training materials.
