Cipla Limited is seeking an MDI Mechanic for the 2nd shift in Fall River, MA. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing process equipment in a cGMP environment, with emphasis on electrical, pneumatic, electronic, and mechanical systems.

The position requires 2–4 years of packaging maintenance experience, strong English communication skills, and familiarity with SOPs. Shift is 3:00 pm–11:30 pm; full-time with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2-4 years of packaging experience with knowledge of repairing and maintenance activities is preferred in a pharmaceutical setting.
• Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), SOPs and FDA regulations is important.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions according to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Install, repair, and troubleshoot process equipment including electrical, pneumatic, electronic, and mechanical systems.
• Maintain operating machines and correct malfunctions efficiently.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Select and collect parts required for repair from storeroom.
