Job summary

Cipla USA is seeking a Manufacturing Operator II in Fall River, MA for the third shift. You will support production of MDI products, operate and maintain equipment, and coordinate with QA, QC, engineering, and packaging to meet schedules.

The role requires 2–3 years in pharma manufacturing with MDI/aerosol products, strong math and safety knowledge, and ability to work in a team or independently. Salary ranges from $21–$28 per hour with DOE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Accredited college certificate or university degree is preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years of manufacturing experience with MDI or aerosol products required.
• Proficient in English (Speaking/Reading/Writing) to understand work instructions and document results.
• Knowledge of basic cGMP and regulatory requirements in pharma manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Basic understanding of mechanical machinery and control systems.
• Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
• Demonstrated ability to work in both independent and team environments.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety procedures, including OSHA.
• Strong mathematical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Dispense raw materials and primary packing materials as per work order.
• Plan and execute batches.
• Monitor cleaning and sanitation per SOP during batch changes.
• Record production materials and lines daily.
• Conduct process checks and record in batch manufacturing record.
• Control machine operations with minimal rejections and outputs while maintaining quality.
• Operate equipment and perform maintenance on machinery.
• Coordinate with engineering for preventive maintenance and calibration.
• Manufacture and fill products per Batch Manufacturing Records and SOP.
• Maintain inventory of machine parts, tools and accessories.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Coordinate with packaging, engineering, QA and QC for planning and execution.
• Sample per schedule in coordination with QA and QC.
• Check status labels at all stages of manufacturing and filling.
• Identify and assist in corrective actions.
• Calibrate/verify instruments and balances per schedule.
• Ensure line clearance during batch and product changeovers.
• Document manufacturing activities and actions timely.
