Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking an Account Manager to join one of our well-known global pharmaceutical clients. This hybrid role in Mettawa, IL (T-TR onsite) offers a 1-year assignment with pay ranging from $35 to $40.44 per hour, depending on experience.

You will liaise between the Ad Agency and accounts, manage day-to-day relationships, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver digital projects and strategic plans that meet business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–6 years of ad agency account management experience.
• Pharmaceutical industry and/or digital experience a plus.
• Excellent communications skills: verbal, presentation, written.
• High energy, organized individual in a high‑visibility role.
• Website experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the liaison between the Ad Agency and their assigned accounts.
• Manage the day-to-day relationships across the Agency.
• Work in partnership with cross-functional teams, account leadership, creative staff and external resources/suppliers.
• Lead the production of digital assets and strategic planning for cross-functional teams.
• Provide guidance to cross-functional teams for digital projects including emails, banners, websites, mobile apps, portals, etc.
• Recommend digital tactics that align with the strategy and goals of the brand.
• Maintain knowledge of the client guidelines and branding/approval processes.
• Attend client meetings as a key point of contact and communicate to stakeholders.
• Facilitate timely communications to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Act as the digital lead for assigned business group.
• Manage or assist in creating project estimates and timelines.
• Assist with billing and ensure billing completes on schedule.
