Job summary

Eisai Inc. in North Carolina seeks a Cost Accountant to support inventory valuation, cost accounting, and manufacturing finance across our growing biologics and established product lines.

You will partner with Operations, Supply Planning, Quality, and Corporate Accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls. The role emphasizes process improvements, reporting automation, and analytics using SAP, TM1, Excel and other digital tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.
• CPA certification preferred or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years of relevant accounting in manufacturing or life sciences.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, finance, IFRS and consolidations.
• Experience with accounting and financial reporting applications and advanced spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Inventory & Cost Accounting support including standard cost development and updates.
• Analyze production, purchase price and inventory variances.
• Support monthly close activities for inventory, manufacturing and supply chain accounting.
• Assist with inventory valuation and reporting for Alliance projects.
• Develop and maintain costing and reporting documentation.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and support financial planning.
