Job summary

Avalere Health is seeking an Associate Creative Director, Copy to lead high-impact pharma communications. You will direct writing and design across interactive, motion, and print projects, guiding teams to deliver strategic, clinically informed campaigns.

You will mentor junior creatives, build client relationships, and ensure work aligns with clinical data and market dynamics. A strong portfolio and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Multicultural experience
• Experience in both HCP and Patient marketing
• Experience working in Sickle Cell Disease or Gene Therapy
• Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, marketing, writing or equivalent area of study
• Experience in leading teams and mentoring junior creatives
• Minimum 9 years creative copywriting experience, with at least 3 years in writing for pharma
• Pharmaceutical experience required
• Launch experience required
• Demonstrates ability to direct writing and design of interactive, motion and print projects
• Strong customer service skills with a commitment to superior quality
• Must be self-motivated, professional, detail-oriented, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills
• Can share a digital portfolio that includes a wide range of interactive work across multi-media channels and platforms
