Job summary

Avalere Health is seeking an Associate Creative Director, Copy to lead creative teams and drive communication work that connects design, copy, and UX to stronger strategic insights. This role partners with art directors, copywriters, and strategists to conceive and deliver projects across media, with a clear focus on pharmaceutical advertising agency experience.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of creative copywriting experience.
• At least 3 years writing for pharma.
• Pharmaceutical and/or medical device experience required.
• Experience leading teams and mentoring junior creatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of art directors, copywriters, and strategists to conceive and execute communication projects across media.
• Ensure design, copy, and UX ladder up to strategic insights on projects you lead.
• Guide creative work from conception to completion, including direction of writing and design for interactive, motion and print projects.
• Apply pharmaceutical advertising agency experience to creative development.
• Deliver breakthrough creative work while influencing peers.
• Develop and/or strengthen client relationships.
