Job summary

Avalere Health is seeking a Copy Supervisor to lead copy development for assigned products and mentor direct reports. You will partner with Art Directors to create compelling promotional concepts and navigate regulatory details for pharmaceutical campaigns.

You will drive strategic promotional planning, ensure editorial compliance, and present campaigns to clients, while aiding in product launches and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of professional writing experience with pharma advertising copywriting.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Proven track record in producing pharma promotional materials across 2+ therapeutic categories.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Advanced Mac experience with Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Write effective promotional copy as primary copywriter on at least one product.
• Review material produced by direct reports, including final manuscripts.
• Supervise senior and junior copywriters.
• Demonstrate knowledge of assigned therapeutic categories.
• Participate in strategic promotional planning for assigned products.
• Ensure compliance with the editorial process.
• Master manuscript submission process, including regulatory details.
• Interact with Art Directors to develop concepts and executions.
• Present concepts and promotional material to the client.
• Assist in product launches.
