Job summary

PCI Pharma Services in Rockford, IL is seeking a Cleaning Specialist for the 1st shift (Mon-Thurs, 6:00am-4:00pm). You will clean and sanitize production equipment tooling, ensure equipment readiness, and support production schedules to maintain quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include following cleaning procedures, handling chemicals safely, wearing PPE, maintaining records, and coordinating with QA and Validations.

Qualifications

• Skills testing requirements met at approved grade level for position.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Familiarity with cleaning agents and safety protocols.
• 1-2 years of experience in quality and/or providing support in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of all production equipment tooling, including disassembly and reassembly as specified by cleaning protocols.
• Follow established cleaning procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure hygiene standards.
• Wear PPE and follow safety regulations without deviation.
• Safely use cleaning agents and chemicals following SDS guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities to support operational transparency.
• Coordinate with QA, Validations, and Quality Systems as needed.
• Ensure documentation aligns with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
