Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Manager - Extractable/Leachables in Whitehouse, NJ to lead advanced E&L initiatives within the Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals team. The role focuses on strategy, collaboration across sites and countries, and delivering high-impact programs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating global E&L efforts, driving process improvements, and ensuring growth and profitability targets while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Analytical Chemistry with 10+ years of technical experience in extractable and leachable industries.
• Expertise in pharmaceutical packaging extractable and leachables, biocompatibility, chemical characterization, PERLs, and single-use systems.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams, matrix organizations, and driving business strategy.
• Proven ability to lead projects from concept to completion and manage commercial aspects.
• Comfort with ambiguity, change, and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and coordination of E&L within the global pharmaceutical business line.
• Collaborate with sites, countries and business lines to develop strategy and plans.
• Set strategic objectives for sites and countries including growth, expansion and profitability.
• Develop processes and systems to enable high-impact initiatives.
• Establish and support global key account initiatives and project objectives.
• Lead organizational change to build new capabilities and value propositions.
