Job summary

Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions, seeks a Manager - Extractable/Leachables to lead E&L initiatives at Whitehouse, NJ. The role combines scientific leadership with business development, driving complex projects, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.

The candidate will oversee lab operations, develop proposals, and coordinate global strategies, with travel about 15%.

Qualifications

• PhD in analytical chemistry with MS focus and 10 years' experience in extractable/leachable contexts.
• Expertise in pharmaceutical packaging extractables/leachables and biocompatibility.
• Experience in cross-functional teams, contract structuring, and business strategy.
• Willingness to travel (approx. 15%).
• Strong communication and project leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs E&L laboratory operations to maximize quality, regulatory compliance and profitability.
• Supports proposals, protocols and reports for projects as needed.
• Ensures cgmp compliance activities and equipment calibration.
• Reviews analytical data and provides staff trainings as required.
• Leads strategic teams and drives new business within the client base.
