Job summary

Intertek seeks a Manager - Extractable/Leachables in Whitehouse, NJ to lead complex E&L initiatives within the Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals team. The role focuses on technical innovation, stakeholder relationship growth, and strategic project execution across divisions.

The position requires a PhD in Analytical Chemistry with MS/LE knowledge, 10+ years in extractable and leachable contexts, and strong cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• PhD in Analytical Chemistry with focus on mass spectrometry.
• 10 years minimum technical experience including education in extractable and leachable industries.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and influencing a matrix organization.
• Be comfortable with ambiguity and thrive on change.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates E & L departmental laboratory operations to maximize quality, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, project timelines, productivity and profitability.
• Supports development of proposals, protocols and reports for projects as needed.
• Supports cGMP compliance activities such as timely calibration of equipment, personnel trainings etc.
• Performs review of analytical data and trainings as needed.
• Participates in tactical and strategic teams to meet corporate objectives.
• Has new business development responsibilities for existing departmental client base.
• Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned.
• Establish and support Global Key Account initiatives and evaluate and support project and program objectives.
