Job summary

Brooksource Engineering Services is seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to support operations within a highly automated pharmaceutical device manufacturing environment in Durham, North Carolina. This role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment used in device assembly, packaging, and material handling.

The ideal candidate combines strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with experience supporting automated manufacturing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience supporting automated manufacturing, assembly, or packaging equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, calipers, and electrical testing devices.
• Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, technical documentation, schematics, and equipment drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and supporting systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated equipment failures.
• Diagnose root causes of equipment issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Repair, replace, and align components including motors, gearboxes, bearings, drives, pumps, sensors, actuators, and conveyors.
• Support equipment changeovers, startup activities, and maintenance shutdowns.
