Job summary

Alcami Corporation seeks a Sr. Maintenance Technician to support HVAC, clean utilities, electrical troubleshooting and equipment repair in a fast-paced, FDA-regulated pharmaceutical environment. The role requires independent judgment to keep production running and ensure compliance.

This on-site position in Morrisville, NC entails 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm–7:00am), travel up to 5%, and collaboration across facilities and production teams to drive reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 6+ years in a regulated environment (FDA, NRC or similar).
• Prior pharma cGMP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of WFI distribution, CCA, Boilers, USP and other utilities as assigned.
• Performs scheduled maintenance and records data per SOPs and cGMPs.
• Installs and retrofits facilities equipment per SOPs and cGMPs.
• Keeps Maintenance Management informed of developments on a routine basis.
• Performs repairs to equipment and plant safely and efficiently to respond to work requests.
• Troubleshoots equipment with vendors and engineers; develops solutions.
• Completes paperwork and GMP documents clearly and timely; maintains good relationships with staff.
• Maintains organized, clean workspace; adheres to training requirements.
• On-call for facility and equipment issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
