Job summary

Acuity Analytics is seeking an Application Support Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in supporting production-critical applications within an investment management environment.

You will provide daily production support, monitor data quality, and troubleshoot incidents across multiple systems, collaborating with Operations, Portfolio Management and Vendors to ensure platform stability and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day production support for investment and data applications to ensure high availability and stability.
• Monitor and resolve accounting, performance, pricing, and data quality exceptions.
• Support portfolio accounting, performance measurement, attribution, and benchmark processes.
• Monitor application health, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis for incidents.
• Investigate and resolve issues across multiple systems and databases.
• Develop and enhance SQL queries and Python scripts for troubleshooting and automation.
• Collaborate with Operations, Portfolio Management, Compliance, and Technology teams to resolve issues.
• Perform deployments, release validations, and post-deployment monitoring.
• Identify recurring issues and drive automation to reduce operational risk.
• Create and maintain support documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
• Participate in on-call support with timely incident communication.
