Dartmouth Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to support medication distribution and pharmacy operations across inpatient and outpatient settings. Under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, you will handle routine and specialized duties including preparing medications, stocking ADMs, processing prescriptions, and assisting with training and policy updates.

Under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist,the Pharmacy Technician I,willperformroutine and specialized technical and clerical duties for drug distribution to patients.
Key Responsibilities: Answerphones. Prepares prescription and non-prescription medication and/or devices. Stocks and replenishes stock locations and automated dispensing machines (ADMs) and/or robots (example: shelves, carousels, Parata). May assist with orienting and training pharmacy department staff. Communicates supply issues, problems or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel. Assists in revising policy and procedure. Delivers meds to beds or patient care area Inpatient Only: Prepares or compounds non-sterile, non-antineoplastic drug products in accordance with USP chapter under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist. Maintains the hardware and software of the department's multiple computer systems. Outpatient Only: Electronically processes prescription orders and prepares prescriptions for verification by a pharmacist. Ability to take verbal orders from providers, runs registers, performs production and data entry production. Processes third party claims. Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: AnAssociates degree in a health or related field, (with 1 year of pharmacy experience) or the equivalent in education and experience preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy. Ability to multitask and attention to detail. Ability to maintain composure under stressful situations.
