Job summary

Elmcrest Country Club seeks an experienced PGA Assistant Golf Professional to enhance the member experience at our Cedar Rapids private club. The ideal candidate is on the path to Head Golf Professional within 2–3 years, with strong private club instruction and merchandising experience, and a proven ability to engage members across social and competitive events.

Responsibilities include assisting the Head Professional, supervising outside staff, mentoring assistants, and representing the club

Qualifications

• Class A PGA Professional is required.
• 2-3 years of private club experience preferred.
• Experience in private and group instruction required.
• Merchandising experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Professional with day-to-day golf operations.
• Direct supervision of the outside service team.
• Mentor the Assistant Golf Professional team.
• Visibility with the membership is essential.
• Play golf with various member groups when possible.
