Trust Consulting Services Inc. is seeking a Contract Security Officer Lieutenant for an on-site, part-time role in Alexandria, VA. The position emphasizes protecting people and assets under the Captain’s supervision during assigned shifts.

Responsibilities include patrolling, documenting events, directing personnel, preparing reports, enforcing access control, and responding to security incidents. A strong safety mindset and leadership ability are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Must have at least five years of law enforcement/security officer/military experience showing a history of increasing responsibility.
• Active Secret clearance issued by the U.S. DoD is required.
• Armed DCJS license is required.

Contract Security Officer (CSO) Lieutenant

Location: Alexandria, VA

Position Type: Part-Time

Position Summary

This position is under the supervision of the Captain for the assigned shift of the security department. It is responsible for protecting, safeguarding, and securing assets, personnel, customers, and visitors.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols
• Record and document daily events
• Direct and supervise personnel assigned
• Complete reports and assignments as directed
• Enforces access control procedures
• Protect property from theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents
• Investigate and write reports on accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards, and other security-related situations
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in following the department's procedures
• May perform other related duties as assigned by a security lieutenant, Captain, and security program manager

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must Be 21 years of age
• Must be a high school/GED graduate
• Minimum five years of law enforcement/security officer/military experience showing a successful history of increasing levels of responsibility
• Must possess a clearance level of Secret issued by the U.S. Department of Defense
• Armed DCJS License

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• The applicant must submit to a pre-employment medical exam and drug screening
• The applicant must be able to pass an NLIC / State / Local Background check and Credit check (as applicable)
• The applicant must complete a Physical Agility Test (PAT) successfully
• The applicant must be able to complete a Firearms Qualification (FAQ) successfully

Pay Rate

$40.61/hr.
