Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is seeking an Associate Chemist to prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard analytical methods in compliance with QA programs and SOPs. The role may require standing, handling organic solvents, lab glassware, and specialized equipment.

The position focuses on PFAS prep and associated sample preparation, with responsibilities including instrument maintenance, data reporting, and working under close supervision to ensure accurate results.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry or related field or 2 years of related laboratory experience in lieu of degree.
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading/writing/speaking).
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine lab tasks to gain experience with methods and programs.
• Prepare samples using standard techniques and perform chemical analyses.
• Record and report data; evaluate data quality and unusual test occurrences.
• Maintain instruments and document QC samples (MDL, LOD/LOQ, PT).
• Assist in other areas of the laboratory when needed and ensure safety/compliance.
