Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing is seeking an Associate Chemist to prepare and analyze environmental samples, focusing on PFAS preparation. The role involves routine lab tasks, data evaluation, instrument maintenance, and strict adherence to QA and SOPs. The position is 2nd shift Tue-Sat 3pm-11:30pm, with training Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Chemistry or related field, Associate Degree, or 2 years of related laboratory experience.
• Professional working proficiency in English is required.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine lab tasks to gain experience with methods and programs.
• Preparation of samples using standard techniques; performing chemical analysis.
• Evaluation and quantification of data; recording and reporting results.
• Maintaining instrument cleanliness and performing routine maintenance.
• Proficient with instrument-specific software and IDOCs; document training records.
