Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing seeks an Associate Chemist to prepare and analyze environmental samples using PFAS and LC/MS methods, under QA and SOPs. This role may involve standing for long periods, handling organic solvents and specialized equipment in a controlled lab setting.

The ideal candidate has a chemistry degree or related experience, strong English skills, and a readiness to work 2nd shift from 3pm to 11:30pm with training on weekdays. Benefits available.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Chemistry or related field, Associate Degree, or 2 years of related laboratory experience in lieu of degree.
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples using standard techniques and perform chemical analysis.
• Record and report data and any unusual test occurrences to the supervisor.
• Perform routine instrument maintenance and QC samples.
• Work with complex instrumentation and software (training provided).
• Understand and follow QA/QC and safety procedures in the lab.
