Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking an Associate Chemist to prepare environmental samples and perform analyses under QA programs. The role focuses on PFAS analysis and LC/MS, requires standing and handling solvents, and may involve routine instrument maintenance.

Training on SOPs and IDOC software is provided; the position is 2nd shift Tue-Sat 3pm-11:30pm with M-F training 7am-3:30pm. Benefits include medical, 401(k), PTO.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Chemistry or related field, Associate Degree, or 2 years of related laboratory experience in lieu of degree.
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples using standard techniques.
• Perform chemical analysis using standard techniques.
• Record and report data and any unusual test occurrences to the supervisor.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments as required.
