Job summary

EKI Environment & Water, Inc seeks a PFAS Program Manager to lead the national PFAS practice. You will coordinate with technical experts, regional and project managers, and clients to advance PFAS capabilities and deliver high-quality projects.

The role requires strong technical judgment, program leadership, and the ability to build a coordinated PFAS practice across the firm. You will influence strategic investments and external visibility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of environmental and PFAS consulting experience.
  • Professional Engineer license in California or ability to obtain after employment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop business opportunities and expand environmental services.
  • Excellent client management skills and ability to build long-term relationships.
  • Proven track record managing complex environmental projects with regulatory coordination.
  • Engagement in PFAS field through publications, presentations, or professional activities.
  • Proven project management experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing budgets, schedules, and scope.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and advance EKI's national PFAS practice; promote knowledge sharing and training; recruit PFAS professionals; identify capabilities and gaps; set priorities.
  • Develop and expand PFAS opportunities with strategic clients; create client-specific strategies; connect PFAS capabilities with client needs.
  • Lead strategic pursuits: capture strategies, proposals, interviews; collaborate across the company for high-value projects.
  • Collaborate with PFAS experts to strengthen technical standards, QA/QC, workflows, and best practices.
  • Monitor regulations, research, analytical methods, and treatment technologies; identify opportunities for innovation and new offerings; invest in staff and capabilities.
  • Strengthen PFAS visibility through client engagement, publications, conferences, and external forums.
  • Serve in technical and project leadership roles on PFAS projects: develop strategies, evaluate data, communicate findings to clients and regulators.
  • Perform other duties as required.
