Job summary

ERM is seeking a Technical Director/ PFAS SME to lead PFAS site investigation and remediation efforts across North America and globally. You will advise major industrial clients through regulatory challenges, guide strategic PFAS initiatives, and oversee cutting‑edge remediation designs while mentoring teams.

The role requires 8+ years in consulting with PFAS expertise, strong leadership, and certifications (HAZWOPER/OSHA).

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years consulting experience (15+ preferred) with complex site investigation/remediation.
• PFAS expertise demonstrated through publications, presentations, or thought leadership.
• Strong track record in regulatory interaction and client relationship management.
• Excellent communication, strategic thinking and leadership skills.
• Current HAZWOPER 40-hour and OSHA 30-hour certifications.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for PFAS across site investigation, remediation and compliance projects.
• Collaborate with North American leadership to shape global PFAS strategies.
• Oversee remediation design for soil, groundwater, vapor and sediment with cutting‑edge tech.
• Evaluate remedial technologies for site feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
• Prepare technical proposals, lead business development and strengthen client partnerships.
• Mentor project teams to ensure technical excellence and knowledge transfer.
