Job summary

APTIM is seeking a PFAS Project Director/Manager to drive growth in PFAS and Emerging Contaminants across federal and private sectors. The role emphasizes client relationship building, market development, and execution leadership with PM and business development responsibilities.

The successful candidate will collaborate with internal subject matter experts to expand PFAS capabilities on existing contracts and generate new opportunities with airports, manufacturers, and drinking water suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in a scientific or engineering discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible Program or Project Management experience, including 3 years in business development.
• In-depth PFAS knowledge and track record in PFAS/Emerging Contaminants projects.
• Strong verbal/written communication and proposal management experience.
• Professional registration/licensure relevant to degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell and maintain long-lasting client relationships and pursue PFAS opportunities.
• Develop business development strategies aligned with client needs.
• Assist Task Order bids; lead captures for PFAS pursuits.
• Communicate PFAS capabilities to stakeholders and at conferences.
