The position requires extensive experience in environmental science, strong written and verbal communication, and a Massachusetts driver's license.

Qualifications

• At least five years of full-time or equivalent experience in environmental science or related field.
• At least three years in a professional capacity; at least one year in supervisory/administrative role.
• Bachelor's or Graduate degree may substitute for part of the experience.
• Massachusetts driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Site Manager on Direct Oversight sites and Immediate Response Actions; manage large and complex sites.
• Review and approve complex assessment and remediation plans, technical reports, and data.
• Prepare and coordinate enforcement documents and other technical or legal instruments.
• Provide regulatory guidance to the regulated community and others.
