Job summary

PetSmart is seeking a Pets Hotel Lead to manage the PetsHotel operations and lead the store team. You will ensure exceptional pet and parent experiences, oversee daily tasks, and maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests and associates.

You will supervise shifts, drive associate development, handle guest concerns, and partner with leadership to execute store objectives. A background in retail leadership and pet care is preferred, with full-time availability for diverse

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Full-time availability required; must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates associate experience and development, including onboarding, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Delegate and validate completion of daily tasks; supervise as Leader on Duty.
• Address associate concerns and promote engagement and teamwork.
• Ensure high-quality pet and parent experience, addressing concerns by phone, in person, or online.
• Oversee hotel operations: health, cleanliness, and medication administration for pets.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards, perform opening/closing procedures, and coordinate events.
