Rural King is seeking a Department Lead to drive efficient department operations, manage inventory, signage, and merchandising while delivering outstanding customer service. The role entails supervising stock, pricing changes, and store presentation in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will engage with customers, train team members, and participate in ongoing learning opportunities to uphold Rural King's values and standards. A 40-hour week with varied shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of retail experience in a department role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to convey instructions clearly.
• Strong customer service mindset and interpersonal skills.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and initiative in daily tasks.
• Able to adapt to changing priorities and schedules in a retail environment.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy in inventory and signage processes.

Responsabilités

• Adhere to indoor merchandising guidelines and maintain appealing displays.
• Monitor inventory, perform routine stock counts, and replenish as needed.
• Oversee recovery to keep a neat, organized department and shopping area.
• Execute price changes accurately with signage updates.
• Implement playbook features and planogram sets per company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety within the department and store area.
• Provide proactive customer assistance and locate products for shoppers.
• Support front-end tasks including transactions when required.
• Operate common retail equipment and handheld devices as needed.
• Participate in cross-training across departments for flexibility.
• Engage in training programs and webinars to stay current.
• Provide friendly, professional internal and external support.
