Job summary

Sunoco LP in Abernathy, TX is seeking a Terminal Operator to manage receiving, storing, transferring, and loading refined petroleum products while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

You will gauge tanks, input inventories, perform reconciliations, conduct routine maintenance, and support terminal operations at multiple sites during travel to facilities; ensure accurate measurements, quality sampling, and timely communication with supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to read gauges and perform calculations.

Responsibilities

• Gauge storage tanks and take daily meter readings.
• Provide customer service to operations and commercial staff.
• Input inventories and readings into systems; perform reconciliations.
• Conduct daily/ monthly inventory and thru-put reconciliations.
• Perform equipment maintenance and routine inspections.
• Safely load petroleum products onto trucks and receive from pipelines.
• Travel to multiple facilities to support terminals.
• Take product samples and perform quality control tests.
