Sunoco LP is hiring for a Terminal Operator to safely perform bulk petroleum product transfer operations, including receiving, storing, blending and loading liquids. The role requires operating and maintaining pumps, meters and related equipment, as well as inventory control and terminal security.

The position emphasizes adherence to HES policies and government regulations, with a pay range posted and compensation determined by location, experience, and internal alignment.

Qualificações

• Mechanical aptitude demonstrated by previous experience in related trade.
• Previous experience and knowledge handling petroleum products or prior experience in a bulk processing industry operating pumps, meters and proportion equipment.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain TWIC.
• Ability to multi-task; good time management, computer and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift under/over 40 lbs., stand, climb ladders, climb tank stairs to 50’ elevation, perform outside work, walk, bending, good vision.
• Requires good verbal and communication skills with local management, customers, contractors and peers. Ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor the receipt of product and perform gauging duties in line with quality control routines; ensure safe storage and distribution from vessels, pipelines, tanks, and loading racks.
• Operate terminal vehicles including forklifts, yard equipment, and trucks with plow attachments in accordance with safety policies.
• Operate, maintain and repair motors, pumps, valves and other equipment used for bulk handling of petroleum liquids.
• Perform office tasks including input of inventories and meter totals into automated systems.
• Carry out routine facility maintenance such as painting, housekeeping, snow removal, and grounds upkeep.
• Understand and follow defined emergency response procedures.
