Job summary

Sunoco LP seeks an on-site operations technician to perform daily rounds, unload trucks, and manage tank and pipeline operations. The role requires basic training and a hands-on approach to equipment, sampling, and documentation. You will work in a dynamic industrial environment with strong emphasis on safety and accuracy.

HS Diploma or GED is required, and experience with bulk fuel storage is a plus. Occasional travel and physical tasks are involved, with adherence to PPE standards and safety

Responsibilities

• Perform daily rounds: check pumps, equipment, pressures, gauges, and storage areas.
• Unload trucks and process paperwork from trucks, tugs, and tanks.
• Assist with tank and pipeline operations including sampling and transfer procedures.
• Maintain daily inspection records and prepare reports; ensure proper safety procedures are followed.
• Coordinate with operations to move products between tanks and storage areas.
• Monitor for leaks, ensure proper PPE, and support maintenance activities as needed.
