Job summary
San Juan College seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach courses supporting the oil and gas industry and related energy sectors. The role includes developing customized workforce training for industry partners and delivering instruction in person within the Petroleum Technology Programs, with possible remote or hybrid work approvals for several states.

Qualifications
- Industry experience in oil and gas production, operations, drilling, instrumentation, or related areas.
- Ability to translate industry concepts into hands-on student learning.
- Communication of technical concepts to students with varying experience levels.
Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction for assigned courses.
- Prepare lectures, labs, and assignments.
- Monitor and record student attendance and performance.
- Maintain instructional labs and equipment.
- Communicate with students and industry partners about course content.
- Collaborate with instructors to schedule courses and training.
- Assist in developing new technical courses and workforce training.
- Address student concerns with the Program Coordinator.
