Job summary

SPL is seeking a motivated Laboratory Analyst in Artesia, NM to support energy laboratory operations and testing. You will prepare samples, perform analytical testing, and document results in the LIMS, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The role provides hands-on instrument work, collaboration with a seasoned team, and a direct contribution to high-quality lab outputs. Requirements include a science degree or relevant experience, 1–2 years of lab experience with GC/GC-MS or similar systems, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of hands-on analytical lab experience with analytical instrumentation.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).

Responsibilities

• Perform sample preparation and analytical testing per approved methods and quality standards.
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instrumentation.
• Enter and review data in LIMS and other designated systems.
• Support GLP and quality system activities and audits.
• Maintain safe, organized laboratory environment and assist with housekeeping.
