Job summary

Camin Cargo Control is seeking a Petroleum Inspector to perform sampling, transfers, inventories, and barge inspections under supervision. The role requires a High School Diploma, good math skills, and completion of Inspector level training, with IFIA certification after six months.

A TWIC card and a valid driver’s license are required, with flexibility for fieldwork. As a field representative, you will operate with professionalism and communicate effectively with terminal and vessel personnel,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) with good math skills.
• Must complete Inspector level training and pass tests/evaluations.
• Must have or obtain IFIA certification after gaining at least six months of industry experience.
• Must maintain a valid TWIC card and a vehicle in good working order with a valid license/insurance.
• Dependable, able to work independently and communicate with clients professionally.
• Must meet physical requirements and site-specific access needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling, transfers, inventories and barge inspections per API/ASTM manuals.
• Act as company field representative maintaining professionalism and integrity.
• Label, transport samples to laboratory and complete field documentation.
• Maintain inspection equipment, calibration and proper storage.
• Communicate job duties with Operations, terminals and vessels to avoid delays.
• Assist in training Probationary and Junior Inspectors.
