Job summary

A leading cargo control company in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is seeking a Petroleum Inspector to perform inspections on pipelines and barges. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma and good math skills along with the ability to work independently. This outdoor role involves physical demands and regular communications with the Operations Department. A valid TWIC and completion of Inspector training is necessary.

Qualifications

• Must complete Inspector level training and pass theoretical tests and field evaluations.
• Must obtain IFIA certification after gaining at least six months of industry experience.
• Must maintain a valid Transportation Worker’s Identification Card (TWIC).

Responsibilities

• Acts as a Company representative in the field.
• Effectively communicates all aspects of assigned job duties.
• Obtains, labels, and transports samples to the laboratory.
• Maintains assigned inspection equipment in good working order.
• Performs specialized inspection services and assists in training.
