Job summary

The Environmental Project Manager will lead complex petroleum-related projects in Illinois, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and effective management of scope, schedule and budget.

The role requires a BS in a relevant field, knowledge of Illinois LUST regulations, and strong communication and reporting skills. Full-time position with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Geology, Biology, Hydrology, Environmental Science or related field.
• Knowledge of Illinois LUST regulations.
• Ability to prepare, review, and manage technical reports.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Experience managing petroleum-related environmental projects in Illinois.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Produce technical reports for the Petroleum/EM service line.
• Manage petroleum and environmental projects in Illinois.
• Support client projects for stores such as 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Marathon.
• Perform technical reviews ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Oversee field staff activities and performance.
• Coordinate day-to-day project tasks and workload.
• Collaborate with project teams for successful execution.
• Adhere to Atlas Health and Safety policies.
