Job summary

Atlas is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to lead complex petroleum-related projects across Illinois, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations including Illinois EPA LUST. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, contractor performance, and stakeholder communications for a portfolio of environmental and infrastructure projects at active and former retail petroleum facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a geoscience or environmental field.
• Ability to prepare and review technical reports.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce technical reports for the Petroleum/EM service line.
• Manage Petroleum and other environmental projects in Illinois.
• Support 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Marathon projects and client needs.
• Perform technical reviews and ensure quality and accuracy of deliverables.
• Oversee field staff activities and performance.
• Coordinate day-to-day project tasks and workload.
• Collaborate with project teams to drive successful execution.
• Adhere to Atlas health and safety policies.
