Job summary

OWL Services seeks a Petroleum Heavy Maintenance Lead to head field installation of underground and aboveground storage tanks and related piping. This hands-on leadership role requires reading plans, coordinating crews, and ensuring safety and compliance on sites nationwide.

The position involves frequent travel, staying overnight as needed, and overseeing jobsite progress from setup through completion. A strong background in petroleum construction and reliable leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in petroleum construction or related field.
• Experience installing USTs and ASTs.
• Ability to read construction plans, civil drawings, site plans, and equipment details.
• Strong understanding of elevations, grades, slopes, and piping elevations.
• Previous experience leading or supervising construction crews.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel overnight.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform installation of USTs, ASTs, fuel piping, and associated petroleum equipment.
• Supervise and direct field crews during petroleum construction activities.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, specifications, and details.
• Coordinate daily construction activities with project managers, general contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, and other trades.
• Ensure work is performed according to approved plans, specifications, manufacturer requirements, and company standards.
• Travel to project locations throughout the assigned region and other areas as required.
