The Construction Helper performs tasks requiring physical labor on construction sites, mainly assisting construction craft workers or electricians. Responsibilities include carrying tools and materials, setting up equipment, and performing a range of tasks from simple to hazardous.

Job Duties

1. Spot and direct heavy equipment operators, such as track hoes and loaders, during excavation operations.
2. Operate small equipment like skid steer loaders.
3. Cut and thread steel pipe; assist in fitting and installing underground and above-ground tanks.
4. Assist the foreman with shooting grades and documentation.
5. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site per the foreman’s instructions.
6. Ensure safety signs, barricades, and devices are in place and use proper PPE.
7. Keep tools organized, cleaned, and accounted for on the truck or trailer.
8. Maintain accurate job inventory.
9. Travel to in-state job sites Monday through Friday, with paid per diem and travel expenses.

Requirements
