- 2 years of construction experience (preferably in civil telecom).
- Must be experienced in operating heavy machinery (Skid steer, Mini X, Trencher, etc.)
- Possess the willingness to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
- Mechanical ability and knowledge of hand tools.
- Must be able to physically perform a variety of tasks including lifting heavy objects and climbing step ladders.
- Valid class D drivers license.
- Must be able to pass and DOT physical, drug test and background check.
This is a traveling position and you must be comfortable being on the road M-F.
- 75-90% overnight travel throughout the Midwest.
- Per diem is $150/night when you are 60+ miles from our shop in Shakopee (you may keep whatever per diem you do not spend).

Scope of Work:
- Installing ground ring and inspection wells.
- Cadwelding.
- Building steel platforms for equipment cabinets.
- Installing conduits for utilities.
- Installing/pouring concrete pads for equipment.
- Open trench excavation.
- Installing concrete footings, walls, and cap for installation of new shelters.
- Decommissioning old telecommunication sites.
- Installing fabric and rock around new built sites.
- Installation of retaining walls (block and poured).
- Installation of steel posts set in concrete for canopy systems to protect equipment.
- Equipment and platform grounding.
Responsibilities:
- Complete all work in the correct fashion and ensure that each task is done effectively and according to market standards.
- Adhere to established regulations, standards and company policies and procedures and pay special attention to safety requirements and regulations.
- Address crew complaints and/or conflicts in a professional manner.
- Lead by example.
