Qualifications

We are seeking Laborers working in Heavy Civil/Earthworks/& Utility Infrastructures.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Comply with and actively promote all safety policies and procedures including reporting all accidents, incidents, and near misses.
  • Cleaning and preparing construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
  • Excavate by hand ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to grade specifications.
  • Must be able to use picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, and rakes.
  • Position, join, align, or seal structural components such as concrete wall sections or pipes.
  • Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools while distributing them to the appropriate locations according to project plans or specifications.
  • Position or dismantle forms for pouring concrete, using saws, hammers, etc.
  • Must have knowledge and understanding of the procedures to use the tools and equipment safely and properly.
  • Organize and maintain tool trailers in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Per diem is negotiable when in travel status.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of Heavy / Civil construction experience preferred
  • Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Must be willing and available to travel.
  • Must be willing to lift, pull, bend, push, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be willing to do physical and strenuous work in various types of weather conditions.
