Job summary

SPATCO Energy Solutions in the United States seeks an energetic Petroleum Construction Crew Leader for our Construction Division. The role covers installation and removal of above/below ground petroleum storage tanks, piping, dispensers, and pumping units, plus related tasks like concrete work, electrical work, and environmental cleanup.

Qualifications

• Experience in the petroleum industry is a plus.
• 40hr OSHA training is a plus.
• Installer certifications in the industry is a plus.
• Equipment operation experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift 75-100 lbs when necessary during duties.
• Work outside during all types of weather.
• Work under time constraints efficiently and have the ability to work well with others.
• Follow all company procedures and keep company vehicle clean and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate job duties and delegate tasks for smaller construction projects.
• Monitor and maintain employee schedules and sub-contractors.
• Ensure safe work practices and housekeeping at all times.
• Brief crew on daily tasks and direct workmen on assignments.
• Track rental equipment, material use, and costs to maintain budgets.
• Verify accuracy and compliance with codes, specs and requirements.
• Document daily activities, tests, inspections and visitors.
• Maintain warranty documentation and supplier relationships.
