Job summary

SPATCO Energy Solutions is seeking an energetic Petroleum Construction Crew Leader to join our team. You will coordinate the installation and removal of above and below ground storage tanks, piping, dispensers and pumping units, and oversee related concrete, electrical and environmental tasks.

Responsibilities include directing daily tasks, managing crew schedules and subcontractors, ensuring safety and compliance, tracking materials and costs, and maintaining strong working relationships with

Qualifications

• Experience in the petroleum industry is a plus but not required.
• 40hr OSHA training a plus.
• Installer certifications in the industry is a plus.
• Equipment operation experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift 75-100 lbs when necessary.
• Work outside during all types of weather.
• Work under time constraints efficiently and have the ability to work well with others.
• Follow all company procedures.
• Keep company vehicle clean, maintenance done regularly, and only use for company business.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate job duties and delegate tasks for smaller construction projects.
• Monitor and maintain employee schedules and subcontractors; ensure appropriate skills are applied.
• Ensure safe work practices and housekeeping are followed at all times.
• Brief crew members on daily tasks and direct workmen on assigned tasks.
• Track rental equipment, material needs and costs to maintain project budgets.
• Verify accuracy and compliance of tasks in progress with codes and specs.
• Document daily activities, materials used, testing and inspections.
• Maintain product warranty documentation.
• Create and maintain positive working relationships with crew, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
