Job summary

SPATCO is seeking an energetic Petroleum Construction Crew Leader to join our Construction Division in Houston. The role leads field crews, coordinates tasks, and ensures compliance with safety standards and project specs.

The position requires strong teamwork, the ability to manage schedules, track materials and labor, and maintain quality while meeting deadlines. Experience in the petroleum industry is a plus; OSHA training is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in petroleum industry is a plus
• 40hr OSHA training is a plus
• Installer certifications in the industry are a plus
• Equipment operation experience is a plus
• Ability to lift 75-100 lbs when necessary
• Work outside in all weather conditions
• Work well with others and meet deadlines
• Follow all company procedures and maintain vehicle upkeep

Responsibilities

• Coordinate duties and delegate tasks for construction projects
• Monitor and adjust employee schedules and subcontractor use
• Ensure safe work practices and housekeep daily
• Brief crew on daily tasks and direct work assignments
• Track equipment, materials, and labor costs to stay within budget
• Verify tasks meet codes, specs and manufacturer requirements
• Document daily activities, tests, inspections and visitors
• Maintain warranty documentation and relationships with vendors
