Job summary

PTS Advance seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead mechanical engineering projects on a 1-year contract in petrochemical/refinery settings. The role requires hands-on plant experience, overseeing projects from planning through execution while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering background, PM experience, and ability to coordinate with operations, engineering, and contractors, with flare system exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineers with project management experience
• Experience in petrochemical, chemical manufacturing, or refinery environments
• Experience working inside active plant environments (inside the gates)
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, construction, and maintenance projects
• Ability to coordinate with operations, engineering, contractors and stakeholders
• Flare system experience highly preferred
• Excellent communication and project execution skills

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical projects from planning through execution.
