Job summary

Intertek Nederland TX is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform analytical testing on petroleum and related products in line with ASTM methods and client specifications. The role ensures timely, accurate reporting while upholding safety, quality, and operational standards.

The position requires experience in a lab setting, calibration and maintenance support, and proficiency with LIMS. Rotating shifts and comprehensive benefits accompany this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate ability to multi-task in high production testing areas.
• Must possess good math and observation skills.
• Proficiency using LIMS applications and established chemistry lab processes.
• Excellent team communication and coordination.
• Ability to follow standard and non-standard procedures.
• Ability to utilize non-complex and complex instrumentation.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical and physical tests based on ASTM methods or established standards.
• Assist with equipment calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Clean glassware and test equipment.
• Prepare reagents as needed.
• Record data and report to LIMS.
• Maintain quality records and lab inventories.
• Ensure safety, quality, and housekeeping compliance.
• Participate in cross training as needed.
