Job summary

SGS in the United States is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to perform analysis on crude oil, fuels, LPG/LNG gases, and petrochemicals, operating GC and other lab equipment. You will ensure safety and accurate reporting, supervise technicians as needed, and uphold SGS ethics.

Required: Bachelor’s in Chemistry or related field, TWIC, and knowledge of ASTM standards; ability to work under pressure and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related science preferred.
• Minimum 1 year direct lab experience.
• TWIC required.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory analysis hands-on on bench.
• Operate GC and other lab equipment.
• Ensure safety and accurate reporting.
• Guide Laboratory Technicians as needed.
• Maintain training and knowledge of analysis methods.
