Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an experienced Underground Frontline Supervisor for the Carlin Underground Projects operations. The role involves supervising underground personnel, coordinating with maintenance and engineering, and developing staff to drive safe, efficient equipment operation.

The position requires strong underground hard rock mining knowledge, a proven leadership record, and flexibility to work a rotating nights/days schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) years of underground mine related experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience at a supervisory level.
• Proven knowledge of underground hard rock mining.
• Experience in planning/scheduling of maintenance work preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to supervise and direct underground supervision.
• Excellent safety and performance record required.

• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure equipment performs as desired.
• Coordinate with engineering to ensure compliance with mine plans.

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Underground Frontline Supervisor at our Carlin Underground Projects operations. As part of the Carlin Underground Projects team, the ideal candidate will have proven knowledge of underground hard rock mining. • Coordinate with engineering to ensure compliance with mine plans
• Develop and train employees to standards for safe and efficient equipment operation
• Preform other duties as assigned
